L'Umana Reyer Venezia prende atto della ingiusta e viziata decisione della Federazione Internazionale di Pallacanestro (FIBA), di rilasciare il nulla osta al giocatore Bruno Caboclo, su sollecitazione del Club Partizan Belgrado.

Il rilascio del richiamato nulla osta, a fronte di una gravissima violazione posta in essere dall'Atleta, in manifesta malafede e con il colpevole concorso di manager e nuovo Club è del tutto inaccettabile, e sarà impugnata dalla Reyer in ogni sede e con ogni mezzo legale disponibile, a cominciare dal ricorso al FIBA Appeals Panel.

Parimenti la Reyer si riserva di far accertare nelle sedi competenti la condotta illecita dei manager del giocatore e dello stesso Partizan Belgrado, che pur consapevole del vincolo contrattuale in essere con la Reyer ha dato corso alla richiesta di trasferimento.
Non è tollerabile che in un sistema funzionale e interdipendente come quello del basket europeo un club si avvantaggi delle prestazioni di un giocatore contrattualmente legato ad un potenziale avversario.
E non è tollerabile il voltafaccia di giocatori e agenti nel disprezzo, non solo dei contratti, ma anche della programmazione sportiva, degli investimenti e della competitività delle squadre.

Per questo Reyer è assolutamente determinata a continuare la propria battaglia legale nei confronti di tutti i soggetti coinvolti in questa vicenda e in tutte le sedi possibili.

Perché è purtoppo evidente che il rispetto dei codici di comportamento sanciti dalla stessa FIBA e dei basilari valori sportivi che dovrebbero essere condivisi da tutti non possono essere affidati alla coscienza individuale di chi opera, a qualsiasi titolo, nel nostro sport.

Umana Reyer Venezia takes note of the unfair decision of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) to issue the letter of clearance to the player Bruno Caboclo, at the request of Club Partizan Belgrade.
The issuing of the aforementioned authorization despite a very serious violation committed by the Athlete in undeniable mala fides together with his agent and his new Club is completely unacceptable, and will be contested by Reyer in every court and with every means available by the law, starting with the FIBA Appeals Panel.
Reyer reserves the right to have the illicit conduct of the player's managers and of Partizan Belgrade itself ascertained in the competent bodies. Both parties, despite being aware of the contractual obligation in place with Reyer, has given effect to the transfer request.
It is not tolerable that in a functional and interdependent system like that of European basketball a club takes advantage of the performance of a player contractually linked to a potential opponent.
The sudden U-Turn of both players and agents in disregard, not only of contracts, but also of sports programming, investments and the competitiveness of the teams is not tolerable.
For this reason, Reyer is absolutely determined to continue her legal battle against all those involved in this matter and in all possible forums.
Because it is unfortunately clear that respect for the codes of conduct sanctioned by FIBA itself and the basic sporting values that should be shared by all cannot be entrusted to the individual conscience of those who work, in any position, in our sport.
